About Sophie

Sophie Gutter is a junior at Saddle River Day School who is passionate about helping all students build stronger writing skills, regardless of their socioeconomic background.

She has spoken at international educational conferences on using a multi-sensory approach to teach writing.

She has also appeared on the Jennifer Purcell podcast and the Autism Resource podcast, discussing the importance of multi-sensory writing instruction.

Sophie is also a varsity tennis player and an avid chess player.
